Bride: I met my soon to be husband online. We chatted for a while before meeting in person. There's a funny story to where and how our first date was, but the more we spoke about our values, future ambition, our shared faith in Jesus I had a nudging that he might be the one. Over the course of months through prayer and getting to watch the character of my groom, I was convinced he was the one. Our journey hasn't been an easy one but every step of the way the Lord has confirm and is still confirming his purposes and will for our union. I am thrilled to be one with my groom and be a Mrs. Summers.

Groom: Christel and I met online. By the time we met, I was ready to be done with online dating and I remember sending Christel a message that said something along the lines of "I'm deleting this app and my account. Here's my number if you want to keep talking to me...". The next day, I deleted my account and I was fully expecting to never hear back from her again. I was very surprised when she actually texted my number. After that, we began talking and went on our first date at Chick-fil-a. We talked about our pasts, our goals, what we value in life, and many other things. That led to a second date, and a third, and many more. It was on our second date where we talked more about our faith, and I began to fall in love with her faith, her compassion, her love for others, and her spirit. I officially asked (or maybe told) her out on June 11, 2022. We had our first "I love you" a few weeks later, and were engaged on November 4, 2023! There were many trials and struggles along the way, but God is faithful and gave us the strength to endure them and learn from them. I cannot wait to make Christel my wife on April 26, 2024!
