It all started one night in Blacksburg, Virginia. Go Hokies! They were both out with some of their friends when they happen to be at the same place at the same time.... Sharkey's Bar and Grill. Danny's man bun caught Christen's eye, which had led her to stumble over towards the bar and coincidently bump into him. No shocker as we all know who the extrovert is in their relationship.

Towards the end of the night they exchanged snapchat usernames and went their separate ways. The next day, Danny had sent Christen a message to continue the conversation and expressed continued interest in her. Later that week, he asked her out to go to the Blacksburg Wine Bar.

It was a rainy Saturday when Danny pulled up to the house Christen was living in with her two roommates, Carrie and Cassi, both, now bridesmaids! He walked to the front door with an umbrella and greeted Christen, who was wearing a white sweater. (This is important for the story later on).

The night was young, there was so much laughter and overall great conversations being had. Both were so skeptical, at first, because the dating world didn't really treat them well previously.

As the jokes were flowing, Danny decided to mimic a wine coneseur, twirling his wine, smelling it, when out of no where, his other hand hits the glass, and the red wine shoots across the table, and well, you guessed it, fell all over Christen's white sweater. The waitress came rushing over and expressed that she saw the whole thing, haha.

Although her jaw was on the floor, the only thing Christen could do was laugh. Danny on the other hand, mortified.. they ended up still having such a fun evening together!

A little later on Danny dropped Christen off at her house and he thought that was the first and last date with her.

Well he was clearly wrong as you are here now reading about their love story preparing to attend their wedding day!

Christen and Danny share so much love for one another and are a great example of how love can be patient. They have been dating for 5 years now and couldn't be more excited to say "I do."

Together they have been through numerous life changes. Christen moved to Northern Virginia, Danny went through professional changes and did many bodybuilding competition seasons, they opened a business together, they got a golden retriever puppy, Loki, and are training him through life, they have watched each other grow in different seasons of life and continued to choose one another every single day.

Their love is patient. Their love is forgiving, Their love is fun, their love is dedicated, and most importantly, their love is theirs.
