Our Wedding

In the fall of 2016, Christi transferred from a private Christian middle school to Boiling Springs High School at the start of Garrett and Christi's freshman year. In Honors English 1 (the very first class of the day), Garrett and Christi ended up being assigned to sit next to each other. By sophomore year of high school, Garrett and Christi were close friends. (So close, in fact, several of Christi's friends were convinced they would start dating). The summer of 2019, Garrett invited Christi to travel with him and his family on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, which has a special place in Garrett's heart as he has served in the Dominican Republic almost every year since he was twelve years old. After this trip, Garrett officially asked Christi if they could start dating...and Christi said not yet. On October 5th, 2019, Christi felt an overwhelming peace from the Lord that now was the time to start dating. A few days later on October 8th during their senior year of high school, Christi gave Garrett a letter to tell him that she was finally ready. And the rest is history!

Christi and Garrett have spent the last several years in Virginia in college (Christi at Liberty University and Garrett at Virginia Tech). While they haven't been able to see each other every week, these last several years of dating have had many great memories.

On December 21, 2023, Garrett asked Christi to marry him on top of a beautiful overlook behind Christi's house. This was the same location he had asked her to go to prom with him in their junior year of high school.

The ceremony location is at Grantham Brethren in Christ Church. The address is 421 Grantham Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. We suggest arriving around 2:30 pm for the ceremony to start at 3:00 pm.

The reception is at Stock's Manor. The address is 2421 Mt Allen Dr, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Stock's Manor is approximately 5 minutes away from Grantham Brethren in Christ Church. After the ceremony ends around 3:30 pm, all guests are invited to proceed to Stock's Manor for the social hour before the reception begins at 5:30 pm.
