This is the party of the year and we want our guests to submerge in the desert magic and feel their most fun & sexy selves!! Colorful chic dresses (no short dresses, midi-long please), suits and a western twist for those wanting to bust out a fun cowboy hat or bolo tie!
*if you don’t wish to participate in the “theme” please err on the side of caution and dress more formal over casual. it’s better to be over dressed than under dressed!*
Are plus ones or kids invited?
Your formal RSVP will specifically state if a plus one is included and this is a kids free weekend so everyone can let loose and enjoy!! However, for those that cannot travel without kids, please don't hesitate to make it a family weekend as long as off-site care is set up during the ceremony & reception!
Do I need to wait until RSVPs are sent out to decline?
We'd prefer for anyone that knows they cannot attend to let us know right away. It's a big weekend that requires travel, so we totally understand and will miss you, but this will help us prepare better for future planning!
What is the easiest way to get to the venue?
There is limited parking at the Icehouse and regardless, we'd prefer people to take themselves off DD duty and have fun! Phoenix has uber, lyft & waymo (if you're into self driving cars) as options for ride share. They sometimes take ~10 mins to get a driver so please accommodate for wait times on available cars and ESPECIALLY rush hour traffic getting downtown!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
October in the desert is INCREDIBLE so both the ceremony and reception will be fully outdoors! You can expect a hot and sunny day and a cooled-off evening for dinner and dancing! We will certainly share the weather expectations as we get closer to the date!
Is this an open bar event?
DUH!! but please bring cash to tip the bartenders for all their hard work and good vibes :)
What is the election etiquette at this event given it's right in the season?
check your politics at the door & let's just have fun, but please GO VOTE!!! https://vote.gov/
