Christian and Cherry's story began with a swipe to the right during the harsh COVID lockdown period.

Their first date was nothing short of an adventure. They decided to go geocaching and drove through quiet neighborhoods and scary alleyways to find these trinkets. On their final geocache, they navigated down what seemed like a normal road. It was dark, and their only guide was the glow of their phones. Taken by surprise, the flash of police lights appeared behind them. The officer informed them that they had driven on a pedestrian trail.

Rather than panic, Christian and Cherry laughed at the absurdity of the situation. The officer was kind, and after ensuring they were safe, he escorted them back to the road. Their brief brush with the law became an instant inside joke and a memorable start to their relationship.

From that night forward, Christian and Cherry knew they had something special. Their shared sense of humor, love for adventure, and ability to find joy in the unexpected set the stage for a relationship built on love, trust, and endless laughter.

Through the years, they continued to explore the world together, tackling new adventures and creating countless memories. From going on road trips to pulling all-nighters before exams, every moment was filled with the same joy and laughter that marked their first date.

One day, Christian suggested they go out to celebrate Cherry's accomplished semester on "Stop Day". On their evening out, Christian says his boss recommended a geocache to him. Cherry agreed, as it had been some time since their last geocaching, little did she know this geocaching trip was going to be the most unforgettable one yet.

Christian had meticulously planned everything with Cherry's close friend Thy. As Christian lead Cherry to the geocache, she took notice of some oddities. It was in a locked apartment building that required a code to get in, and she thought to herself, “Weird. People just give out apartment codes for geocaches. That’s not safe.” However, with how strange their first geocaching experience was, she didn’t think twice on it and trusted Christian. At the final spot, they were met with music and lights along with photos of their fondest memories. There, Christian proposed and the start of their new journey began!
