We are both BYU students, and we were set up on a blind date by my (the bride's) sister Sally back in early December 2017. We had our first date at The Soap Factory in downtown Provo, and then got ice cream. We both knew that the other person was someone really special right off the bat; we sat outside in the freezing cold for hours just talking, without noticing the passing of time. We went on a second date just four days later, and made it official soon after.

The same sister who set us up, Sally, invited me to do a photo shoot in downtown Provo in mid July 2018. We went around to different murals and public art around center street, until we made it to a wall outside of The Soap Factory. She had me look at the ground while she took some pictures, and when she told me to look back up, Christian was coming down the stairs of The Soap Factory, tenor saxophone in hand. He played a love song, Misty, out on the street, and then got down on one knee, and made me the happiest girl in the world.
