Montrose Regional Airport
About 90 minutes from the town of Telluride, there are flights from Bismarck, Fargo, Omaha, and Minneapolis with a stop in Denver. Prices are a little higher than flying into Denver but it cuts travel time by about 4 hours!
Denver International Airport
Denver is about 6 hours from Telluride, however the drive from Denver to Telluride is beautiful with many scenic stops on the way! You could also consider a one way flight into Montrose with a road trip and site seeing on the way to Denver for your one way back to your home destination!

It has a mix of cabins, suites, or generic hotel rooms and it is also the location of the reception dinner and dance!

Ouray, Colorado
We would recommend staying in Telluride the night of the wedding; however, we understand that options can occasionally be limited.
Ouray is another gorgeous mountain town located about 1 hour from the town of Telluride and is a great basecamp for an adventurous weekend in the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado.
Montrose, Colorado
As we said above, we would recommend staying in Telluride the night of the wedding but if options are limited, Montrose is another great option!
It is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from town and is a great starting point for a fun weekend on the western slope. We both highly recommend the Black Canyon of the Gunnison Natl Park!
Free Gondola - Telluride Station
If you are wondering how you should get up to the ceremony and reception sites, the answer lies here!
Telluride, CO is home to a free gondola that connects the town of Telluride to Mountain Village with a stop at San Sophia Station in-between.
To get to the ceremony you will take the gondola up from Telluride or Mountain Village and get off at San Sophia Station, from there the San Sophia Overlook is just a short walk away!

Make sure you book the group rates! They can take you from the Montrose Airport directly to town. We would recommend booking in advance to make sure there are seats available.
