After 2 years, 2 thousand miles, and an uncountable amount of phone calls, the second chapter of our life is beginning .

But before that... let's go back to where it started:

After the first time we met in 2013, we didn't see each other for 7 years until Gaby came to visit her family in 2021. This is the year that changed our lives. Reunited as friends, we started spending time together without any intentions of a relationship. However, the more time we spent together the closer we became. As the days went on, the conversations got longer, the "get togethers" became more frequent, and the relationship felt sweeter. At this point we both realized how special our friendship was and didn't want it to be just a friendship. So as it goes Christian finally told Gaby how he felt, and we became a couple.

Unfortunately, only a few weeks after we became a couple, Christian went to Spain to study abroad and Gaby had to go back to Colombia because her visa had expired. This was the start of our long distance relationship.

Looking back, we never thought about where we would be today-two years later, Christian traveling to Colombia to visit, figuring out ways to have dates over FaceTime, going through the visa process, and so many other obstacles. We are finally about to begin our Happily Ever After. Despite all the challenges, we would do it all again to be at this point. We are so excited to begin this next chapter...together!
