Christian and Isabelle's love story began in the most unexpected of places: a quinceañera.


One of the groomsmen, Fedi, asked Christian to be a dancer in his cousin, Miranda's, quinceañera. Isabelle's brother, Henry, went to school with Miranda. Another groomsman, Elijah, was supposed to be a member of the dance crew, but he broke his foot. So, Miranda asked Henry to step in for Elijah, and he became a part of the dance crew.


Isabelle first noticed Christian at her favorite Mexican restaurant, where the dancers practiced. She thought he was SO dashing. On the night of the quinceañera, with the help of her sister, Amelia, and best friend, Gina, (both bridesmaids) and a bit of assistance from Christian's dad, Miguel, who noticed Isabelle's interest, they devised a plan to bring the two together on the dance floor.


The plan worked perfectly. Christian and Isabelle danced the night away, discovering a shared excitement about attending Carolina that upcoming fall. What started as a few summer dates at the movies and Tequilas Mexican restaurant became four awesome years as a couple at UNC.


From those early days filled with shared laughter and dances, their relationship blossomed into something truly special. Now, as they prepare to step into this new chapter of their lives together, they look back with gratitude at that night and all the moments that have led them to this beautiful journey.
