It all started in 2021. Christi and Jake had both been working at Texas Roadhouse for several months. Christi started to take notice of this cute server, who never wore his mask how he was supposed to and would always come up to the host stand. Christi decided one day to send this cute server a note on receipt paper while they were both working, and much to her surprise; he actually wrote back! This went on for several weeks and eventually Christi and Jake started hanging out, enter Charlie. Jake met Charlie the first time Christi and Jake hung out one night after working all day. Jake immediately fell in love with her (bonus points). After the first time they hung out; it became a regular thing for the next couple months and of course Charlie accompanied Christi every time she went over there.
On June 5, 2021, Jake finally asked Christi to be his girlfriend. And the rest is history
