Sean and Christina first crossed paths at a beer festival in the Spring of 2019. While attending the event with friends, Christina spotted Sean working at a brewery table and said, “I want that one.” & she wasn’t talking about the beer.

Although it wasn’t until a couple years later, in July 2021, that Sean mustered up the courage to ask Christina out on a first date. They tailgated in the parking lot of Jimmy’s Apizza while awaiting their order. Sean not only bloodied his hand while nervously opening a beer, but also had to get his car jump-started by a stranger due to a dead battery. Christina still liked Sean despite the tailgate terrors.

After dating for a little over a month, they had just returned home from a weekend in Mystic. Christina fell sick with a fever and cold. Sean realized he loved her at this point because he instinctively went to the grocery store and made her chicken noodle soup, from scratch. And she knew she loved him because Sean used chicken thighs not knowing her disdain of chicken thighs. But she loved the soup and him anyway.

From then until now, Christina has moved into Sean’s house, became Kobi’s (Sean’s dog) Mom, they’ve shared some amazing adventures together in Boston, Curaçao, Costa Rica, Key West, Las Vegas, Manhattan, Nantucket, Rhode Island and Vermont. They both love cooking, gardening, eating charcuterie, socializing with friends, traveling and laughing with each other. Sean loves Christina’s mesmerizing smile and jovial personality. And Christina loves Sean’s goofiness and kindness, despite his corny repertoire of dad jokes.

Sean knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Christina so on New Years Eve 2022, he proposed to her while making guacamole in the kitchen. There is way more to this story but thankfully the ring didn't fall down the air vent and Christina finally understood why Sean was trying to get down on one knee!
