Our Story

Worth the Wait

Picture of Worth the Wait

Bobby and Tina met the way many great love stories begin at a party. Or rather, many parties. They’d often find themselves chatting in the kitchen or by the fire pit outside, and while things were casual (Tina was dating someone else), Tina had a feeling Bobby had a little crush on her (he wasn’t subtle about it).

It wasn’t until a Christmas party in 2019, when they were both single, that sparks really started to fly. A week later, Bobby left for Christmas vacation in Florida with his family, and when he returned, he surprised Tina with a souvenir (a shot glass). They had only just started talking more seriously, but the sweet gesture made a lasting impression.

They rang in the New Year together at yet another party. Right after midnight, Bobby had to head home to wake up in a few hours for work. Tina walked him to the door, and that’s when they made it official.

Since then, it’s been a journey full of love, laughter, Jaguars games in Jacksonville, camping trips to Lake George, a LMSW, casino trips, renaissance fairs, New England hikes, theme parties, their first home, three cats and countless memories.

In March 2025, they took a safari trip to India, where Bobby planned to propose at the Taj Mahal. But as travel stories go, things didn’t go quite as planned, and the grand proposal had to wait.

On their final morning, over breakfast on a balcony overlooking a tea garden, with the sounds of gibbons calling in the distance and sunlight pouring over the trees, Bobby got down on one knee and asked Tina to marry him.

She said yes, and now they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter together.

Wedding Party

Alica Amarante & Larissa Carbajal
Alica Amarante & Larissa Carbajal - Matrons of Honor
Christina couldn’t imagine celebrating her wedding without her two younger sisters by her side. Glued at the hip since day one, these three have done just about everything together, obsessing over music and movies, navigating college, planning trips, and now living the lives they once dreamed about, complete with careers, relationships, and homes. They still talk on the phone almost every day (yes, three-way calls are very much alive), and never pass up a chance for a sister trip, whether it’s North Conway, NH, or anywhere with a good view of the water. They’re a package deal, and their partners know it!
Tricia Jordan
Tricia Jordan - Matron of Honor
Tricia is the brides big sister and original party girl of the family. Some of Christina’s favorite childhood memories are of Tricia taking her shopping because she has the best style, the biggest personality, and is undeniably the coolest person ever in Christina’s eyes. Though Tricia now lives across the country, a single phone call is all it takes to have them both laughing like no time has passed. Tricia was the first bride Christina ever stood beside, and now Christina is thrilled to have her standing by her side as her Matron of Honor.
Megan Wells
Megan Wells - Officiant of Honor
It all started outside the nurse’s office at Sheehan High School (ask Megan about it). One day after school, Megan asked Christina for a ride home. What Christina didn’t expect was for Megan to also ask her to hangout. They have been friends ever since. From late-night gazebo hangouts and going to music festivals together and eating cake in Christina’s Subaru in the Stop & Shop parking lot to keeping in touch with voice memo raps and silly inside jokes, they are still best friends till the end and Monks for life. Christina and Robert are incredibly honored to have Megan officiating their wedding.
Jared Linn
Jared Linn - Groomsman
Bobby has known Jared since the day he was born, literally. From riding bikes around the neighborhood as kids, to sharing their first apartment and working side by side at D’Angelo’s, they’ve shared plenty of memories over the years. Bobby is proud to have his brother Jared standing with him as a groomsman on his wedding day.
The Boys
The Boys - Groomsmen
Alan and Joe are more than just brothers-in-law, they’re the boyssssss! Lucky to be married to Tina’s sisters, they’ve been part of Tina and Bobby’s journey from the start. From backyard hangouts to epic game nights, they’ve shared countless drinks, laughs and memories along the way. When it came time to plan the big day, Bobby knew he wanted Alan and Joe by his side, not only to support him as he says “I do,” but also to make sure he doesn’t say anything ridiculous… or forget where to stand.
Ellen Chilone
Ellen Chilone - Bridesmaid
If you know anything about Christina, it’s that in her younger days she didn’t stay at one job for long, until she landed at a little preschool called Saint Stanislaus. What she didn’t know then was that the teacher in the classroom next door would turn out to be her soul sister. Their friendship bloomed through quick chats in the toddler bathroom that connected their classrooms, and it only grew stronger from there. When the time came for both of them to move on, they left the school, but never left each other. From book clubs and foodie adventures to bobbing in the ocean and playing mermaids every summer, these two have built a bond full of laughter, love, and a lot of sunscreen. Having been part of her story for so long, Christina couldn’t imagine starting this next chapter without Ellen by her side.
Mallorie Wallander
Mallorie Wallander - Bridesmaid
When Christina started at a new school, she spotted a familiar face, the girl she’d met at a Girls Scouts event the year before. Wasting no time, she asked, “Do you remember me?” That moment was the start of a friendship that’s now spanned over 20 years. Through all of life’s twists and turns, Christina and Mallorie have always found time to reconnect, whether it’s driving to Boston to try a new restaurant or watching a movie and catching up life. Last fall, Christina and Robert had the joy of attending Mallorie’s beautiful wedding at Acadia National Park, and now, they’re excited to have her standing by their side for theirs.
Emily Doolittle
Emily Doolittle - Bridesmaid
Christina and Emily met during their junior year of high school and they’ve been close ever since. Some of Christina’s favorite memories are of hula hooping on sunny days at Emily’s family’s cottage. When Emily moved to Boston for college, Christina (a true New York girl at heart) made plenty of trips to visit, even if Boston wasn’t exactly her scene. What’s always kept them connected is their shared love of music. From dancing at night clubs to attending raves together, their friendship has always had a great soundtrack. These days, Christina’s glued to her phone while Emily barely checks hers, but they still make time for margarita dates, and walks to the park with Emily’s son, Bobby. Christina is so excited to have Emily celebrating with her on such a special day.
Alassandra Cargos
Alassandra Cargos - Bridesmaid
From a training on attachment to an unbreakable attachment of their own, Christina's friendship with Alassandra was one of those connections where it felt like they'd known each other forever. Recognizing a kindred spirit, Christina didn't hesitate to encourage Alassandra to apply for a position at her workplace, and it wasn't long before they had desks side-by-side. When the world shifted with the arrival of Covid, Christina and Alassandra embarked on a new adventure, moving into their first apartment together. Even as Christina pursued a new career after graduation, and Alassandra continued to thrive in her role, their bond remained as strong as ever. You'll often find these two besties immersed in crafting projects, sharing their mutual adoration for all things Disney, and of course, their undeniable love for cats . Christina had the joy of standing by Alassandra’s side as a bridesmaid in her 2024 wedding, and she's absolutely thrilled to have Alassandra stand with her on her special day.

A Note on Gifts

Your love and presence on our special day is the greatest gift of all. We’re lucky to already have a home filled with everything we need, if you are planning to celebrate us with a gift, in lieu of a traditional wedding registry, we kindly ask for contributions toward our future such as home improvement projects or our baby fund. Gift cards, cash, checks, or any token of love are deeply appreciated as we start this next chapter together. Thank you for your generosity and support!
