Our Wedding

Like many modern love stories, Chrissy and Kim met on a dating app and talked for two months before deciding to meet IRL (in real life). ﻿Kim crossed the Nantucket Sound after quarantining for two weeks for our first date at Mashpee Commons! We had a romantic lunch, made creations at Color Me Mine, and solved an escape room together. It's a special date that we recreate every year on our anniversary.

Our First Date

Over the next few months, Chrissy and Kim crossed the Nantucket Sound every weekend to see each other. Nantucket became a place where they learned to dance in the rain and ride the waves. Kim: One of my favorite memories of Nantucket was the time where they was a pretty large storm off the coast which changed directions and brought massive wind-driven waves. The ferries cancelled their trips and Chrissy was stuck on Island for two days! She had to call out of work, and I closely monitored the ferry website and called them to see when a ferry may be able to make a break for it. Finally, one was able to, and we just managed to get Chrissy a seat for what was the roughest trip of her life. Thank God for Dramamine! Chrissy: One of my favorite memories of Nantucket was getting stuck on the island and getting to spend more time with Kim. I also loved having the chance to see Nantucket through her eyes- from hunting for ceramic pieces on the beach, to visiting her favorite coffee shops, to getting caught in so many storms, every day was special. Nantucket was the perfect place to fall in love.

The Nantucket Sound

Soon, Kim moved to Boston and they settled into life together. ﻿We've had so many fun adventures, from hiking to day trips, and spending the holidays together. Life is always exciting, whether we are trying something new, or hanging out on our couch. Combining lives and homes, the pieces fell into place for us.

Moving in The Fall

They continue to go on adventures, and love to take special time to be together. From trips to antique stores to as many zoos as possible, and everything in-between. We have developed a penchant for unique museums, from the Salem Witch Museum to the International Cryptozoology Museum, our museum trips are never boring and always leave us laughing! Above all else, our favorite place to be is together.

Events and Adventures

December 15, 2023 Kim: Chrissy, unknowingly, was the first proposal of the weekend. We went to Color Me Mine, where we had our first date. She tried to convince me that we would paint our plates with our backs to each other, but I said that I wanted to talk to her and felt that couldn't do that if we weren't facing each other. So, she made me promise to not look at her plate until she was done, and I agreed. So we painted and I noticed she grew more and more nervous. Chrissy finally finished and I revealed my plate first. Then she turned her plate around and whispered, "Do you wanna get married?" Of course I said "YES!" Little did she know I had my own proposal planned under the rouse of looking at Christmas trees on Nantucket!

They're Engaged (pt.1)

December 17, 2023 Chrissy: Kim took me on a lovely Christmas time trip to Nantucket. We visited some of our favorite spots on the island. When we made it to our favorite beach, I decided to search for shells for us. When I walked back to Kim to show her my treasures, she popped the question! She then pulled a total rom-com move on me, and invited our close friends and family to meet us at wharf as we got off of the ferry, in the rain no less! I felt so surrounded by love, it was just a beautiful start to our forever.

January 16th, 2025 In uncertain times, we decided to be certain that our love would win. We decided to elope at Boston City Hall! It was a beautiful way to start our marriage. We can't wait to celebrate our love with all of you!

Our Story

This is our preferred option for all of our guests! Onsite accommodations at the venue! Stay onsite with family and friends, enjoy a day after brunch, and the ease of moving from camp activities to getting ready, to our wedding! Families and friends will be placed together in wonderful cabins a short walk from our reception hall. Enjoy the ease of tip toeing back to your cabin, without having to worry about taking a drive! Most rooms feature bunk beds, with plenty of space and private shared bathrooms. Linens, pillows, and towels are available to rent onsite for $35/person or you can bring your own! Most beds will be twin sized, contact us directly for more details!

This hotel is a 2 star hotel, and it is an 8 minute drive from our venue. It features free parking, free breakfast, free wifi, room service, and a fitness center.

Econo Lodge Lakes Region

This is a 3 star hotel and is a 12 minute drive from the venue. This hotel has free parking, free breakfast, free wifi, sauna, and laundry onsite.

Days Inn by Wyndham Tamworth

This is a 3 star hotel, and is a 13 minute drive from the hotel. It has free wifi, firepits, grills, lawn games, an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, fishing, paddleboarding, playground, kayaking/ canoeing, swimming, tennis/pickleball, hiking trails, and room and cottage/condo options.

Purity Spring Resort

This hotel features tents or cabin options, firepits, BBQs, picnic areas, kitchenettes, food trucks, a camp store, heated pool, a lake, and sports and activities.

Huttopia White Mountains

This is a 3 star hotel and a 28 minute drive from the venue. This hotel has inn and hotel rooms as well as cabins, free wifi, free breakfast, mini fridges, an onsite restaurant, playground, outdoor pool, firepits, fitness center, grilling area, and river access.

Merrill Farm Inn

This is a 2 star hotel that is a 32 minute drive from the venue. This hotel has free wifi, free parking, an indoor and an outdoor pool, free breakfast, a free fitness center, and a playground.

Green Granite Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection

This is a 2 star hotel and is a 34 minute drive from the venue. This hotel has room and suite options, free wifi, microwaves, mini fridges, a pool, a playground, and a grilling and picnic area.

Whether you have a few hours to spare, or want to extend some vacation time, we have compiled all our favorite places to sleep, adventure, and eat in the great state of New Hampshire!

We do this hike every year! About a two-mile loop hike. There are some hills but plenty of benches if you need a rest. The path is mostly gravel, with the portion through the gorge being wood platforms. There are quite a few stairs through the gorge itself. This hike is fairly popular so there may be a crowd at narrow paths, but should keep moving.
