Brian and I met each other 20 years ago when we both worked together at McDonalds as Managers and a couple years later we dated for a short few months. Funny part of the story is Brian ghosted me and many don't know this. We were young and neither of us were ready for a serious relationship, but we did remain friends through the years and got back in contact a few times during that time with mostly 5- 10 years before running into each other again. After my divorce we got back in touch because the man who said he would never be on social media popped up on my Facebook page as someone I may know. I laughed and sent him a message joking "Look who said they would never be on facebook". We caught up on all the things that had happened in out lives since the last time we had talked 10 years before. We decided that maybe we had been young and dumb and needed to grow up in life and that maybe we had something between each other that never left all these years. We have been through many ups and downs in our own lives but found a support system that we had never had before and we clung to it tight. We swore we were never getting married and it wasn't something that would make our relationship whole till we realized we may had been holding back feelings we really had about growing old together. We have been through surgeries, deaths, me buying a house, kids integrating to changes, taking trips we have never done before, getting a new puppy, and making new memories everyday. Now it is not just us in the house or me and my beautiful loving daughter, sometimes we have his 3 amazing kids too. Its a house full but we wouldn't want it any other way. We love watching new shows and movies and spending time with family and friends and also just spending time together cooking new recipes or new foods. Brian has helped me find a new love of cooking and stepping out of my comfort zone. We found a love so strong that neither of us thought it was possible to have. We work together on everything, have our disagreements, talk through everything, and have a plan to spend the rest of our lives making each other happy and growing old together. I don't think I could have asked for a more amazing man and he is so in love with me. I wouldn't want anyone else to share this crazy life with and he feels the same. We are so excited about the adventures ahead and what life will bring as the years pass. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with all the people we love around us. We believe God Keeps people in our lives that should stay there for a reason and years ago neither of us would have ever guessed what God had in store for us, even through all the hardships we have been through, we have found the most amazing bond between 2 people.
