Joshua and Christina met on the Tinder app, November 19, 2016. They swiped right during their time at the College Game day tailgate, when WMU took on Buffalo to defend their undefeated streak. Joshua was the first to message Christina in the app the next day and after that first message, Joshua sent her a "Good Morning Beautiful" text every day until their first date.

Christina and Joshua texted and called each other for 4 months. Then in March they decided it would be a good time to meet up and have their first date. Joshua and Christina had their date March 14th 2017 at HopCat and ended their night at Bells Brewery. Since then, they have been inseparable.

Today they live in their beautiful home in Kalamazoo with their wonderful Bernese Mountain Dog, Bronco. Joshua and Christina spend their time competing against one another in board/card games, going to Baseball games in the summer, playing sports (bowling and coed softball), hanging with friends, going to breweries and making plenty of memories.
