Our Wedding

It was the end of December of 2020 in the heart of Covid and Josh was quarantining when the two started talking. Thanks to Tinder the two swiped right on each other and Christina actually messaged Josh first. Josh was currently living in feather sound and Christina had her apartment in Westchase. Christina’s radius was set at only one mile and was out to dinner with a friend in south Tampa when she came across Josh’s profile. Christina was never into the online dating scene before but decided to give it a try. Josh just recently relocated to Clearwater after spending 5 summers caddying 6 months in East Hampton and 6 months in Bradenton. Due to COVID, the golf courses shut down and golf was working as a loan officer for one of his golf clients. Christina was living in Westchase at her apartment and she just recently purchased a new townhome. After the two started talking they planned for their first date to play mini golf at Congo River golf in Clearwater on a Saturday 01/09/24. Christina got scared and declined the date the morning of. Her friends persistently told her that she should go and after a smooth response from Josh and a cute dimpled selfie at the bar, Christina regretted her decision. Josh agreed to have the same following plans the very next day. The couple decided to reschedule and play mini golf on the following day, Sunday. The were inseparable ever since. The couple decided to have their next date at Bon Appetit in Dunedin where they shared their first kiss on the dock in Dunedin after their dinner. The two knew they had something very special. Shortly after Josh came down with COVID and asked Christina if he could stay and quarantine in at her place. Christin agreed and Josh realized that Christina really cared about him and quarantining together for two weeks after the two just met was their first test. They got along great and Josh then asked Christina to spend a week in Nantucket with his family. That’s when Christina knew he was serious. Christina agreed and met the family and had a wonderful time. It was Christina’s first time in Nantucket and they had an amazing first trip! Shortly after coming back from Nantucket, Christina agreed to have Josh move into her new townhome which was one of Christina’s best decisions. After 3 years of dating, Josh planned a trip out to Arizona. (Christina has never been out West) He planned her whole birthday trip as a surprise.&nbsp;They went to the Grand Canyon and then they went to Sedona on Christina’s birthday 03/04. Josh reserved a pink jeep tour and at the sunset she got down on one knee and ask her to marry him. it was the most beautiful proposal I could have ever imagined! After moving in Josh persistently express interest in getting a dog. Christina did not want a dog at all in her new home and considered it a burden with all the trips they went on. On day while watch football on a Sunday 09/11/22 Christina suggested to go to a few animal shelters and pet stores in Largo, Florida. After walking into Sunshine Puppies she fell in love with a blonde golden doodle. They decided to named the dog Tito. After 24 hours Christina didn’t like the name and suggested the name change of “Brady” to Josh. Josh didn’t like that name at all and said to Christina, “you can choose any name besides Brady”. Josh is a Steelers fan and not a Brady fan. After Christina persistently kept on calling the dog Brady, Josh agreed to name him Brady. Brady has brought so much happiness into their life and completed their family. Christina and Josh have become quite the dog mom and dad with continuous trips to the dog bars and dog parks. In January they decided to add an addition to their family and adopted "Donny" a 10 month old goldendoodle who looks just like Brady. They really love Brady and Donny and they both have completed their little family. Josh and Christina plan to wed on 10/04/25 at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz, Florida followed by reception 10/04/25 at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa with their closest friends and family there by their side!

Catherine is Christina’s little sister. Christina was also the Maid of Honor in Cathy’s wedding back in August of 2022. Catherine is a mother to her 1 year old daughter named Abigail who is one of our three flower girls. Cathy is a high school Spanish teacher at her high school alma mater. Although Cathy is the younger sister, Christina has always looked up to her. Catherine and her husband Rob welcomed a their first child, a beautiful baby girl named Abigail. (flower girl)

Charlotte has been Christina’s best friend since 5 years old. Charlotte and Christina met at Burger King in the ball pit in Warwick, NY. Charlotte was with her Dad and Christina was with her Grandma Helen. Christina was 5 and Charlotte was 4. The two clicked instantly and then in kindergarten at Park Ave Elementary, Charlotte and Christina were in the same class. Christina went home to tell her mom that “Guess who was in my class? Charlotte, the girl from Burger King!” The two were inseparable ever since! 28 years of friendship and a whole lot of memories!

Allie and Christina have known each other since babies and now are neighbors! Allie’s mom Noreen and Christina’s Mom Barbara have been childhood friends since 13. Allie and Christina have always referred to each other as “cousins”. Over the past 7 years both living in Tampa, Allie and Christina have been incredibly close. Both had apartments in Westchase and decided to purchase townhouses right across from each other in Lutz. Allie has been there throughout my journey of living in Tampa. She has been there in many phases of my life. She has been “cousin”, a great friend and always there for me.

Allison and Christina met in summer of 2021 about six months after Josh and Christina started dating. Allison is Josh’s sister in law, married to his older brother Luke. I first met Allison at her home in Connecticut playing jenga and we instantly clicked. The two have grown tremendously close over these almost four years. Sharing many girls trips, solo trips. Allison is ones of Christina’s favorite people she has ever met who can always give her a good laugh. Allison has always been there for me, supporting Josh and I since day one and has always rooted for our relationship. She is always there to reassure everything will be ok and always has Christina’s best interest at heart.

We have a set of rooms blocked for from Thursday 10/02 till 10/05. This hotel is the LESS EXPENSIVE OPTION but across the main road from the Wedding Venue. We are ASKING THAT ALL GUESTS WHO CAN STAY AT THE CURRENT HOTEL, PLEASE DO. We set a block of rooms or a least expensive option at the Hilton.
