The story began with a common love for giving and selflessness. Steven Curry and Christina Elliott began their journey together when they saw each other across the room during an Indiana University Dance Marathon event. Their sacrifice and dedication to helping others brought them even closer to each other. They both only smiled and waved at each other at meetings, until Christina sent a message in their IUDM GroupMe, which led to them meeting for the first time on August 8th, 2017.

Eventually on October 3rd, 2017, Steven and Christina's love for each other started to grow and they made the decision to start their life together. This life of adventure consisted of countless nights at Kilroys on Kirkwood, IU sporting events, concerts, dinner dates, weekend trips and vacations, hours of movies and shows, moving to Carmel, and even adding a furry friend to keep their other kitten company. Through all these adventures they continued to grow, learn, and fall in love.

Finally on a rainy July 3rd, 2019, when their unconditional love for each other grew to be infinite, Steven took Christina to the most beautiful, scenic view in Bloomington and got down on one knee to ask for his best friend's hand in marriage. At this magical point in time, the rain stopped and the sun shined angelically through the clouds to show what was meant to be. Christina cried tears of excitement and joy as she said "YES", opening up a new chapter in their life.
