Our Wedding

Brandon and Christina met as so many do: at law school. While they had a couple of run-ins at the fourth-floor microwaves, Brandon truly caught Christina's eye when he suited up and buzzed his hair off (he looked like early 2000s' Brad Pitt!) for the 2022 Barrister's Ball at The Peabody, her 1L year and his 2L year. A conversation was had on the dance floor, but that was it.&nbsp; Summer passed, and it was a new school year. Both Brandon and Christina were signed up to be Peer Mentors for the incoming 1L class, and of course, they were paired together. After a Zoom training for all of the Peer Mentors (during which, Brandon couldn't take his eyes off of Christina), he reached out via GroupMe to schedule a "strategy meeting" for their first peer mentor session. &nbsp; The peer-mentor planning session, turned perfect first date, lasted six hours. And the two have been together ever since.&nbsp; From the fateful Barrister's Ball encounter to their wedding, The Peabody has been the backdrop to their love story. They cannot wait to tie the knot at such an iconic place that will create many memories throughout their long and loving marriage.

Can I bring my kids?

We kindly request that this be an adult-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear?

The attire is black tie. The Bride and Groom encourage you to dress to the nines—tuxes, sequins, feathers, the works! You'll fit right in at The Peabody!

Where should I stay?

We encourage our guests to stay on site at The Peabody, a four-star hotel with multiple restaurants, a spa, a fabulous lobby bar, shopping, and, of course, the world-famous ducks!

What about parking and transportation?

The Peabody offers valet parking and self parking.&nbsp;There are also nearby lots, which are best accessed through the Premium Parking app. We encourage our guests to allow time to park before the Ceremony begins at 5:30 PM. Downtown Memphis is somewhat walkable, especially the area around The Peabody. However, we encourage our guests to either rent a car for the weekend or rely on ride-share options. The Memphis public transportation system is not reliable.
