Though we appreciate love and support from all of our guests, we have decided to reserve the ceremony for a limited amount of family and friends in order to keep it more intimate and personal for us. Your RSVP will include either a reception RSVP or a ceremony and reception RSVP. These events are taking place on two separate days. Please look closely at location and times, and we can't wait to celebrate at the Tipsy Toad with everyone!

Unfortunately, due to the small/rural location of the city of Boyd where the Tipsy Toad is located, we are told it can be difficult to get an uber/lyft from the reception location. Please see our travel section for nearby lodging.

There is an open and 20 feet deep pond at the marriage celebration location and feel it would be unsafe to have a lot of children around to watch over during the celebration. We will have immediate family's children there who will be staying on the location and have extended children invites to out of town guests. We would encourage that other children stay home for their safety if possible but we understand any challenges that may arise for childcare and are happy to accommodate if needed.

Tipsy Toad Retreat is our reception venue. It is located on a working ranch. The event will be outside. There are also not a lot of paved pathways so for the women, heels may sink as you walk in the ground. But no worries if you still want to rock your heels and if at any point want to go barefoot we will not judge. The bride may do this as well ;)

Yes. We have listed nearby hotels, please make note of the location. Again, Boyd is a small town and the nearest hotel is up to 30 minutes away. There are Airbnbs that are closer you can find to the Tipsy Toad as well. Please let us know if you need any help with this and see Travel section for details.

Immediate family will be going straight to the reception location to setup. You are welcome to come hang out while we do so. We love any extra time we can get with all of you. If not, there are plenty of places to grab a drink or to do in Fort Worth before going to Boyd. This also would be a good opportunity to check into any lodging you may have.
