In July of 2021 Brian of Bardstown, KY was in Camden, TN at Tactical Response in the midst of "A Year Of Fighting With James Yeager". For the 4th of July he was invited to join Yeager, Tactical Response employees, and friends to shoot exploding targets at the gun range. During this celebration there was a video filmed of him helping one the Byrns boys shoot the exploding targets. Unbeknownst to Brian, Christina had been childhood friends with the Byrns and most of the Tactical Response employees. She saw the video on Facebook and heard Brian's boisterous laugh for the first time. Unable to see his face clearly in the video she immediately reached out to Sarah Byrns to learn who this man was and why she hadn't met him yet. Sarah pointed her to Heather Glover and Shelton King (two more childhood friends that worked at Tactical Response). Heather advised Brian was training with them. He was always polite and respectful around her but Shelton spent more time with him. Continuing on the hunt to learn who he was, if he was single, and if he was interested, she then reached out to Shelton. Upon getting the information requested Shelton called Christina. The first words out of his mouth were, "Don't scare him. We like him and we want him to stay. Be nice." To which she replied, "I am a delight. Shelton, you are the only person I am mean to. I am not gonna scare him." He then let her know that yes, Brian was single and interested. Shelton exchanged numbers for the pair and reminded Christina again to be nice... After a few introductory text they decided a phone call was in order. The call lasted around FOUR HOURS! Which is astounding if you know Brian's dislike of phone calls, not so much if you know Christina's ability to chatter insistently. She was sure there was no way he'd still want to go on a date after all her nervous rambling. He surprised her as they were ending the call by asking, "So, would you like to go on a date with me?" Their first date was set to be a double date with Shelton and his girlfriend Kelli at the Birdsong Drive In. Unfortunately, the other couple had to back out a couple hours before the date. Nervous as they were they decided to meet at the Drive In anyway where they watched Black Widow and Snake Eyes. After the movies they stayed another two hours talking and dancing in the drive in parking lot. A few dates later, Brian asked if she would be his girlfriend. In the spring of 2023 Christina attended Olivia and Josh Schultz wedding. When she was telling Brian about it a few days later she told him she needed a timeline. It didn't have to be right now or even this year but she needed a timeline to know that this was eventually leading to marriage. Brian just smiled and said he didn't know why they weren't married yet. He told her in his heart they already were. Memorial Day of 2023 Brian purposed while they were having their morning coffee on the porch with their cat Hercules.&nbsp;
