Please make sure you follow the street parking signs. There is parking available at the reception site (Penticton Lakeside Resort) for $15 a day or $1.50 an hour, which can be purchased at the meter in the parking lot /the parkade or through the hotel's front desk attendant.
Will transportation be provided to/from events?
There is no formal transportation provided. We are recommending that you carpool to and from the ceremony. We are also strongly recommending guests book accommodations at the reception site which is the Penticton Lakeside Resort. If you do choose to stay elsewhere we are requesting that if you are drinking you ensure you have a safe means of transportation such as a designated driver or a taxi.
Will food and drinks be served?
At the ceremony there will be water available for guests. There will be dinner, beverages and dessert provided at the reception for each guest. There will be a number of complimentary alcoholic drink tickets distributed to each guest. There will be a cash bar available at the reception for those who wish to purchase additional alcoholic drinks. No outside food or beverages are permitted on either site.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We ask that during the ceremony you stay in the moment and enjoy yourself. We have a professional photographer that will be there to capture the moment. We do however understand that you may want to take photos, so we just ask that no photos be posted on social media until after the ceremony is complete. We also ask that you use our wedding hashtag #tohaveandtohanson2024 when posting on social media so we can keep track of the photos as well.
