Nick & I first met back in November of 2018 through mutual friends. We started playing coed soccer at Total Sports Experience every Sunday together. Neither of us had each others phone numbers until one night (December 1st to be exact) I was out with friends at Dragonfly and received a text that said "Christina..." For some reason I had a feeling that it was Nick who was texting me so I replied, "Nick...?" He responded with, "Hi:)" I wish I could say the rest is history, but...! I did have a short period of time where I told Nick that I wasn't ready for a relationship, oops! Its okay because all it took was for him to stop texting me for a week for me to come crawling back to him lol!! After that incredibly short period of time, Nick and I have been inseparable ever since. He officially asked me to be his girlfriend July 3rd, 2019 (Yes, it did unfortunately take him 7 months to ask the question, its fine!) We both decided in fall of 2020 that we were going to apply to U of R's accelerated nursing program. Luckily, we both got in and started in May of 2021! After one of the hardest years of our lives, we both graduated as RN's in May of 2022 and accepted jobs at Golisano Children's Hospital. We moved into our first apartment together in April of 2023 in Brighton, which we were so happy to finally live together! The shock of a life time happened on February 16th, 2024 when we took a trip to Burlington, Vermont and Nick proposed to me in the middle of Church Street<3 Fast forward a few more months, we were lucky enough to buy our first house together in May 2024 (shout out to Nicks brother Mike!) Over a 6 year span, the milestones that we have met together is everything we could have ever hoped for. We are so excited to take on this next step of marriage and for all the journeys to come<3
