For family and friends coming from outside of Texas, yes, your children are welcome and are noted as such on your save the date "The Smith Family" versus "Joe and Mary Smith." We know that out-of-state travel + securing long term childcare is a barrier for your attendance, and want to avoid that! For our beloved family and friends in Texas, we ask that you have a kid-free day and find childcare so you can come and party, just the adults. Pick out your favorite spiffy wedding attire and wear what makes you feel great! This is not a black-tie wedding and suits are not required. We expect a good mix of suits + jeans/pearl snaps. Ladies, any formality of dresses is great - if you want an excuse to wear a long dress, go for it. Sundresses are perfectly fine too. Make sure you wear your dancing shoes! We respectfully ask that you leave your t-shirts, ball caps/hats or clothes with stances/messaging on them at home.

We anticipate daytime to be in the 70s, maybe reaching 80. It will cool off in the evening and get down into 60s, maybe even high 50s. The ceremony is outside, and the reception is inside. A fire pit is also on site if you get chilly.

There is ample parking, as well as plenty of Uber drivers in the area. Please choose what you prefer, and make the safe decision to Uber if you plan to imbibe. Cars can be left overnight if needed and picked up in the morning, safely.
