Can I bring a date/ +1?
So we can stay on budget we have a set guest list. We are only able to accommodate those that are formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will also appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
Are kids welcome?
We love the littles, but unfortunately there are no kids. We want everyone to relax and enjoy the evening, making this an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
We request that you please RSVP before April 10, 2023 so we can provide an accurate head count to our venue! We invite you to RSVP here on our website, or mail back the self addressed stamped postcard (whichever was provided). Can’t wait to see you all there!
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! But if you cannot make it to the wedding please let us know as soon as possible or RSVP "no" when the time comes so we can plan accordingly.
Where are the Ceremony and Reception taking place?
Our venue is located in Oxnard at the Tower Club. The ceremony will take place in the garden adjacent from the tower, and is only a short walk to and from. The Cocktail Hour and Reception will be in the Tower on the 22nd floor.
To avoid any confusion, you will take the elevator to the 21st floor, and from there you can use the staircase or the marked private elevator on your right up to the 22nd floor. (1 floor up)
How do I get to the venue?
Personalized directions will be provided in your formal invitation.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony you will be escorted to the tower for cocktail hour to enjoy some hors d'oeuvres and drinks while waiting for the bride and groom.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at least a half hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be taking place outdoors in the garden. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
There is plenty of parking and its free!
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Yes! We have a room block with special rates for our guests at the Courtyard Marriott just steps away from the venue. Super convenient for anyone that does not want to drive home after a long night. The details and contact info are under the travel tab on this website!
Are the ceremony and reception wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely! To get to the reception and cocktail area after you arrive on the 21st floor, you will take the private marked elevator up 1 to the 22nd floor.
Where are you registered?
We already live together and have everything we need, but would love to have the chance to go on a trip after our wedding. We have a honeymoon fund set up on this website! Anything is greatly appreciated!
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Of course! In fact we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #chabollawedding23 so that we can look back on all your pics!
When will the reception end?
The reception will end promptly at 12am.
