HOW WE MET: Christine and Jeff first met at, the sister of the brides, Kaundra’s birthday party in 2008 at a Jazz club. Jeff saw the vivacious Christine at a table and said “Can I sit next to you, you seem like the kind of person I would want to hang out with”. Very corny, but enough to spark a memory. However, dating did not begin until July 2013, five years after the first encounter.

OUR FIRST DATE: July 2, 2013 was the first date at Cyndi Lauper She’s So Unusual 30th Anniversary Tour in Atlanta. with many more to follow.

THE PROPOSAL: On January 1, 2023 Jeff dropped to one knee and asked the all important question, after 10 years of dating. Jeff had planned to propose at midnight on New Years Eve, however, Christine had other plans and was sound asleep by midnight. Unfortunately, Jeff had to alter his plans. Jeff took Christine for a sunset stroll on the beach in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He had to position Christine accordingly in order to be able to surprise her. With Ben, brother of the groom, videoing, he dropped to one knee and asked the all important question, “Will you marry me?”. Of course, Christine said “Yes!” And the tears began to roll. Linda, mother of the groom, was watching from the balcony cheering loudly. And so the journey begins …..
