Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at Franklin on Penn, in the heart of Pittsburgh's Strip District.
How do we get there?
For those guests who are not driving to the venue - there will be transportation provided from the Homewood Suites. More information to follow.
Is there parking available at the venue?
We will be providing a valet service for the night for those guests that drive to the venue!
What time should i arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to have your car parked and find your seat.
Is there a dress code?
We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting formal attire for our wedding!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
It is very important to us that you refrain from using your cellphone to take pictures during the ceremony. Although it may be temping, more than anything, we want this day to be about our love. Our hope is that you take the time to be present with us and celebrate with us. Our hope is that there is so much love being celebrated that even pictures won't be able to capture our moments, and you won't even think to take out your phone. Don't worry - we will share all of our professional pictures as soon as we have them!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
If your guest name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close family and friends.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
This is going to be an adults only event. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of all invited to the wedding. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!
are there colors that guests should avoid wearing?
We do ask that our guests refrain from wearing the color BLUE. As a replacement of a wedding party, we have each asked a few of our friends and family to be our "something blue," as in "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue."
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you - get ready to celebrate!
Do you have a hotel room block?
Please enjoy a room at the Homewood Suites in Pittsburgh’s Strip District.

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Pittsburgh??
Luckily, our wedding is located in our favorite part of the city - Pittsburgh's Strip District/Lawrenceville! The Strip (as us Pittsburgh natives call it), is filled with the best food, coffee, and pastries around. Head to Primanti's for a sand-which bigger than your face, Allegheny Coffee for our favorite lattes, or even learn about the history of Pittsburgh at the Heinz History Center. We are very passionate about our city so please ask us for any recommendations!
Is there something for us to do the night before the wedding?
YES! We are throwing a welcome party for anyone and everyone that is traveling (or not!) to Pittsburgh for the wedding!
This will be at Puttery Pittsburgh at 6:30pm on April 11th! Light appetizers will be provided and there will be a cash bar! The Puttery is directly across the street from the Homewood Suites so the perfect place to meet up with everyone and kick off the weekend!
