If your invitation includes an option for a guest, then yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest. Please reach out to us if you believe we made a mistake, and you need an additional guest!

We welcome your little ones! Our venue has a strict policy on not leaving children unattended due to the venue having a pond on site. Hence, we ask that you keep a close eye on your little ones and remove them from the ceremony if they are disruptive.

The dress code is semi-formal. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button down with pants. For women, we suggest a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates.

Our wedding will be filled with lilacs, dusty purples, sage greens, dark greens, dusty pinks, maroons, terracottas, light blues, and navy blues. Please feel welcomed, not required, to match our color palette. For photos, we kindly ask to avoid wearing any extremely vibrant or neon colors.

We recommend wearing shoes that you feel comfortable wearing whether that is six inch heels or tennis shoes. There are many activities you can take part in during the event including games, dancing, and walking paths.

Although we can not predict the exact weather, the temperature in western Iowa is typically around 60 degrees in October.

Our venue is in the country so it can be hard to find. The simplest way to get there is: (1) take exit 29 off I-80, (2) head North on 335th Street, (3) turn right on 325th St, (4) turn right at the Willow Creek Glass Chapel sign, and (5) head down the windy drive way to the wedding venue!

Yes, there is plenty of parking on site. After you park, you will walk down the pathway toward the glass chapel to await the ceremony.

Please plan on arriving at 3:45 PM to give yourself plenty of time before the ceremony begins at 4:00 PM.

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day, and we kindly ask that you silent and do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and video the rest of the night!

Willow Creek doesn't allow smoking in any of the buildings on the property. There are receptacles available for outside smoking only.

The ceremony and reception are at Willow Creek in Shelby, IA. The ceremony will be held at the Glass Chapel on the Willow Creek estate.

After we say "I do," we welcome you to cocktail hour where there will be outdoor games and snacks for your snacking pleasure at the barn. We will begin taking your seats for dinner at 5:55 PM.

The bar will be open until the dollar amount we put on the bar has been reached. After the dollar amount has been reached, the bar will be a cash bar. The open bar will cover non-alcoholic drinks, beer, seltzers, house wine, and signature drinks. No outside alcohol is permitted on the premises. If you are found with outside alcohol you will be charged $350 and may be asked to leave.

The ceremony and reception are at Willow Creek in Shelby, IA. The reception will be held at the Barn on the Willow Creek estate.

Yes, dinner will be buffet style! You will have the choice between a grilled chicken breast or flat iron steak as a main entrée. The meal will be served with the following options for sides: a salad, roasted baby carrots in rosemary butter, roasted baby potatoes, smoked gouda mac & cheese, and rolls. The drink options will be water, raspberry lemonade, or raspberry tea.

The reception will end between 10:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
