Our Wedding

Over the past few years, we’ve built a strong partnership grounded in trust, love, and shared growth. What began without expectations grew into something deeper, becoming an inescapable connection neither of us planned for. On our five year anniversary, we went on a hike in Red Rock Canyon, something Christine hadn't felt able to do on our first trip there. She was able to keep up with Chris and hike with ease. Chris had planned this moment... near the end of the hike, he dropped to a knee and asked Christine to marry him!

Jen (and her husband Josh) have been long time friends of Christine, and now Chris too! Jen is the reason this is all coming together and we are so incredibly appreciative of all her help!

Michael is Chris' favorite brother. The couple loves having him over to their house often to eat good food, play video games, and watch movies and shows together!

Jenny is Christine's younger sister. Chris and Christine love hanging out with her and her husband, Jeramiah, and adore their two daughters, Riley and Kasey!

Josh is the other half of the Matron of Honor and has been friends with Christine for 25 years! The couple is honored to have him stand up with us as we celebrate our love!

We encourage wearing shades of pink or red in honor of Valentine's Day, but most importantly, we want you to wear something you feel comfortable in!

Dress Code

We are not reserving a block of rooms for this event. We recommend one of the hotels around Arrowhead Mall and Peoria Sports Complex near Loop 101 and Bell Rd in Glendale, AZ. They will be only 10 minutes from the venue and 20 minutes from our house! The "P83" area is home to spring training games for baseball so the area has many hotels and restaurants available, as well as a busy shopping mall and easy freeway access. It's a great spot to use as a home base to enjoy Phoenix! This area will be about 30-40 minutes from the PHX Sky Harbor International Airport.

Travel

This is probably the best local park to take the kids if you're staying in the recommended area. With the average February weather hitting a high of 70-76 degrees and a nighttime low in the high 40s, outside activities are especially enjoyable this time of year!

Rio Vista Community Park

If you want to enjoy a beautiful hike, there are many trails of all levels of difficulty here. Christine hikes here quite a bit!

Thunderbird Conservation Park

This is one of our favorite places to take out of town guests! Everyone loves the food here!!

Mellow Mushroom Phoenix

Chris, Christine, and Michael eat here a lot. Their pizza is incredible - thin, crispy New York style!

Lil Capo Pizzeria

Haymaker has a couple of locations, but we've eaten here several times and they have large portions and great food! Try the BYOB burger!!

Haymaker North Peoria

It's a mall in 2026, but it's the way you remember malls being back in the day. Full of people and places to shop!
