"There are places I'll remember..."

Michael and Christine met in High School in the chorus room. They knew of one another but didn't actually meet until Michael's senior year. They hit it off right away and became good friends, although they only saw one another in between classes or during study halls, as they were in different choirs and rarely sang together. When they tried to see if anything more could come of their friendship - it didn't work out. Presently they believe that this was for the best, though at the time it didn't seem like it.

"And I am, overwhelmed, by you ..."

After 2 years of the same routine: talking as friends, going on a date, it not working out - Christine and Michael finally got the timing right. In August of 2012 Christine was at Applebee's, where Michael worked, with a friend when he came over to say hello. Later that day, Christine and Michael continued to talk and then eventually a month later they made it official.

"Life has led us here, Together all these years..."

Friends, family, many life events, and many memories later, these two are truly fortunate to call one another "best friend"...

"I'll pause this game, So our love will never end. Let's go again..."

In January of 2022, Christine thought they were just going to a NY Rangers game, something her and Michael had done many times prior. When they arrived at Grand Central, Christine heard her name being called to find Michael's sister Kiara there! Christine was confused because she didn't know if Kiara was coming to the game as well or just in the city to see friends. When Christine turned to see if Mike knew she would be in the city, he pulled out a ring and got down on one knee. They had a wonderful day in NYC , exploring the Harry Potter store, curling and having Hot Cocoa in Bryant Park, getting lost in a new Board Game store and the craziest come back in the Rangers season!

Follow signs to 9W south from the Bear Mountain Traffic Circle. To the Bear Mountain InnAt Traffic Circle, take first right. Follow 9W south (past picnic groves on the right) to the Traffic Light, bear right at light. The Inn is 200 feet ahead on the right.

Parking

Bear Mountain Inn is on the Bear Mountain State Park grounds. New York State Parks charges a $10 (cash only) parking fee for all guests visiting. Should you choose to stay at the Bear Mountain Inn the evening of the wedding, this will be waived. Please read below for shuttle service.

Shuttle

We will be offering a shuttle service via West Point Tour Buses to and from Bear Mountain Inn from the Hampton Inn. Should you choose to use the shuttle service here is the schedule:
