Our Wedding

Chris and I met on a dating app, Bumble, and took a couple of weeks to get to know each other through texts. Our first date in April was at a local bar, Cold Creek Tavern, which unfortunately no longer exists. After a couple of drinks and lots of laughs I challenged Chris, the self-proclaimed gamer, to a game of Mario Party which he clearly lost. From that moment on we were inseparable spending every moment we could together. From day one Chris had won the heart of both Moose and I. By October Chris was moving into my apartment and by December we added to our fur family and adopted Stella. We survived a pandemic, surgeries, house hunting and home repairs in the years that followed. It was during the time that we were having our deck done on a September morning that Chris wanted to show me how the side of the house was now free of all the old wood. While I figured I would know when it was coming, he truly surprised me, proposing. Since then, we have enjoyed planning and getting ready to celebrate with all of you, our family and friends.

Josie is the oldest sister of the bride. Although we are five years apart we are still best friends with so much in common. I love spending time with her doing crafts, organizing, putting together Ikea furniture, board games (we are both very competitive)  and of course shopping. I couldn't imagine not having her as part of my wedding.

Melissa is the middle/older sister of the bride. With four years between us we too are best friends with a lot in common. I love spending time with her watching a favorite show of ours, playing rummy, and being on top of our game for a quick response and reference. I can always count on her to know what I'm talking about. I couldn't imagine not having her as part of my wedding.

Lorena is the cousin of the bride who is my third sister, best friend and P.I.C. She is always ready to hang out and always up for a trip to the vineyards or outlets for some retail therapy. I always look forward to our annual Treat Yo Self day filled with shopping, fine dining, and drinks. I couldn't imagine our wedding day without her as a part of it.

Melina is the niece of the bride. At 6 years old I love getting the chance to have our experiences out and getting to spend time with each other. I love being able to support any fundraising or lemonade stands that she has. We absolutely look forward to having her being a part of our big day.

Sophia is the niece of the groom. At 4 years old we enjoy getting to see her light up the stage dancing and look forward to having her being a part of our big day.

Liam is the nephew of the groom. At two years old this happy little boy loves his stuffed animals and is always ready to jump right in at family dinners. We can't wait to have him be a part of our big day.

Dylan is the little cousin of the bride. With his expertise as a ring bearer and prize-winning smile, we couldn't be happier that he will be a part of our big day

Paul is the nephew of the bride. As a teenager we enjoy having experiences including camping, playing board games and video games together. We have so much fun whenever Paul is around, and we are extremely excited having him as a part of our big day.

Pete is also the father of the groom. Pete is always the life of the party and I have so much love for everything he has done for me throughout my entire life. So many great times and stories that we have shared over the years, I am honored and grateful to have my dad standing next to me on our big day.

James is the brother-in-law of the groom. James is such an amazing father to our niece and nephew, Sophia and Liam, as well as being an incredible husband to my sister, Carolyn. I consider James as my brother, and I couldn't be more excited to have him by my side on our big day.
