Alec and Chris met in the summer of 2019 when Alec was hired on to the admin team at Greenhouse Pediatric Therapy where Chris was working. The pair quickly struck up a strong, quirky friendship. They later began dating even though Chris was now Alec’s boss! (With the blessing of the big boss, of course 😉)

Their bond became stronger as they supported each other through tremendous personal challenges over the next few years. Alec became legal guardian of (& later adopted) his nephew, & Chris was right there to support him. Chris was navigating being a single mom to two young boys, & Alec had her back. With three complex kiddos between them, the couple mastered sharing skills & resources, even in the heat of autistic meltdowns, with grace & patience. Their communication is on point!

Alec & Chris are best friends, soulmates, meant to cheer each other on & weather life’s trials together. The oh-so neurospicy family (plus 2 dogs & too many cats) plans to combine into one family home this winter, where there will be joy, excitement, fears, chaos, & so, so much love.
