Suggestions/Highlights:

-Check the tide schedule before visiting the beaches as the best time to go is at low tide when there is the most sand. https://www.tidetime.org/north-america/united-states/scituate-scituate-harbor-massachusetts-calendar-jul.htm

-You need a beach sticker to park in beach parking lots, so look for street parking near any of the beaches.

There is public parking in Scituate Harbor. You can park there and walk to a number of beaches. See below -- and don't forget your sunscreen!

-Peggotty Beach is about a 10-15 minute walk from

Scituate Harbor on Peggotty Beach Rd.

-Museum Beach, about a 5-minute walk from Scituate Harbor on Jericho Rd, is right on Scituate Harbor. It's small and better for just viewing the Harbor.

-Lighthouse Beach at Cedar Point is about a 15-20 minute walk from Scituate Harbor, where Scituate Lighthouse is located. This is a small, quiet beach good for small children. You can park there!

-Minot Beach is one of my faves but, very hard to park. Take a ride by and see the beautiful view and grab a street parking spot, if you can find one!

Nantasket is a public beach in the town of Hull

-Private Beach Area: Temple Beth Shalom, 600 Nantasket Ave., day pass 2 blocks from the private beach area. Best if you have a wagon or something with wheels to carry beach chairs/towels/drinks.
