Rules and Regulations of the wedding venue.
Smoking is not permitted inside the venue, nor anywhere on depot property.
Because this is a historical location, there are very specific rules and regulations. Artifacts are to be left where they are and not touched. Remember, it's a museum.
Trains do go by throughout the day and night. Amtrak goes by at 80 mph, so please stand back where there are signs. And yes, I know, we have a lot of train people, and you are the ones I am worried about.
Is there a Registry?
We do not have a registry as we have combined three houses. We want to enjoy your company at our wedding and reception.
What if we want to get you something?
In lieu of traditional gifts, you could surprise us with a gift card to your favorite haunt.
What is the expected dress attire?
Between Dressy Casual and Semi-Formal
Will dinner be served?
Yes, buffet style with vegetarian options.
What if I have food allergies?
Please let us know when you RSVP, either on the website or with the listed numbers on the invitation.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, we will have a cocktail hour, and open bar with limited drink choices, along with non-alcoholic choices. Please consider tipping your bartender.
Is there a Hotel close by? And is there a group of rooms?
Yes, there is one, please check the Hotel tab. All the information you need is on that tab.
What is the distance from the Hotel to the Venue?
It is about 2 miles down the road, close to I-94.
Where can we park?
There is handicapped parking along with limited spaces next to the depot. Across the tracks, within walking distance, there is an open parking lot. Please walk around to the sidewalk as the tracks do have active trains.
Is Uber available?
Yes, there are. You can check on the app.
Will there be music and dancing?
There will be a fun DJ ready to get you moving on the dance floor. We will also slow down for romance.
Can we make song requests?
At this time, we can not accept song requests. This may change in the future.
Photo Options?
There will be 3 different photo opportunities.
1) A professional photographer will be taking formal group photos with anyone who wishes to have their photo taken.
2) There will also be candid shots throughout the evening.
3.) There will be a photo prop area available for guests
to create memories with their own phones.
If we come in on Friday, will there be a chance to mingle with the Bride and Groom?
