On a random Wednesday, Chris was grabbing dinner at her favorite local bar by herself. Chris, after her second sangria, thought to herself "If I never message anyone on this dang app, I'm going to die alone with five cats." She swiped through some men on the app, judging bios and fish pictures, when Alec's face appeared. In his bio, he said he went to college at Missouri S & T.

"Hey, small world, I know that place," Chris thought to herself. "If he is an engineer from Rolla, he is probably a midwest, bud-light drinking, smart, nerdy, backwards-cap kind of guy. And he's cute." *swipe*

Meanwhile, Alec was probably on his third beer on the couch. He admits to swiping right on every decent-looking female, since on Bumble, the women make the first move. *ding* .... *Christine messaged you.* Alec, an introverted and nervous person who thought all cats were female and mated with male dogs to create more female cats until he was 19 years old, was immediately nervous when Chris messaged him. But he messaged back, and they kept talking.

Only a few days later, Alec and Chris met up for brunch at a local spot. They were both nervous, so the date had some awkward moments, but they were both immediately attracted to each other and quickly found out that they had a lot in common.

So they saw each other again. And again. And then again. Almost a year later, they moved in together. And then they got engaged. And here we are, celebrating each other with our friends and family.
