It all began on a Valentine’s Day evening at a singles event in Atlanta. Jumping into embarrassing stories revolving around torn swimsuits and learning K-POP dance routines, we quickly discovered a shared love for adventure and a genuine connection to one another. Intrigued by our blossoming chemistry, Shane asked Christine out on a date. He suggested a visit to a trendy liquid nitrogen ice cream shop downtown. The plan was set: meet at 8 PM. As the clock ticked closer to the appointed time, Shane prepared to leave work. However, his boss had one last request – a small task that wouldn’t take long. Ten minutes later, another urgent request popped up. With each passing minute, Shane’s heart raced as he realized he was going to be late. Amidst the relentless downtown traffic, Shane texted Christine, apologizing for the delay. She responded with understanding and patience, waiting for him to arrive. When Shane finally made it to the ice cream shop, over half an hour late, he was surprised to find her still there. Our conversation flowed effortlessly as we shared stories about Christine’s medical experiences, our time in New York City, and Christine’s thrilling skydiving adventure in Australia. Years later, our love continued to flourish. We planned a dream vacation to Nice, France, inviting our parents to join us. Together, we explored the charming coastal towns of Italy, the extravagance of Monte Carlo, and the breathtaking scenery of southern France. On the final day of our trip, Shane had a surprise planned. He arranged for a private sailboat excursion out on the French Riviera. As the clouds dissipated and the sun cast over a bright shimmer of the water, Shane knelt before Christine and proposed. Luckily, she said, “Yes" without either of us falling into the ocean! Our engagement marked the beginning of a new chapter in our love story. We are thrilled to celebrate our upcoming wedding with our loved ones and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together, filled with adventure, laughter, and unwavering love.
