When Michael and I first 'matched' in June 2017, we both hesitated meeting because we were basically neighbors. It wasn't until August of that year that I finally agreed to meet at Mission on the Bay in Swampscott. Surprisingly, seated at the bar were Kerry & Greg Dederdine (long-time friends of Michael's and now good friends of both of us), who made our first date full of laughter.

I would like to say that it was love at first site for both of us, but we had our hurdles to cross before we found our path. There were so many signs for both of us in the first few years that we were 'meant' to meet (including both winding up not only working in the same building in Boston, but the same elevator bank), but it wasn't until Covid forced us to only have each other for a few months that we (or me) lowered our guards down and truly fell in love.

"Marriage" wasn't something either of us ever thought we would do again, but today I can't imagine a life without him (and never want to).

We have joined forces to create the wedding of our dreams. Not the one that we grew up thinking about (okay - I'm a chick, that would be me), but a day surrounded by those people that we love more than anyone. We are adding a ton of special touches in memory of those we love so much that have passed (my mom and Mike's dad particularly), and surprises.
