A cèilidh is a traditional Scottish and Irish social gathering.

It's translation actually means 'gathering' or 'party', however these days it refers to a particular type of social dancing - think folk music and dancing with friends!

Don't panic if you've never been to a cèilidh before - we will have a caller who will instruct on the dance and keep us (mostly) right. Plus loads of Scottish folks who are born and bred experts on the matter (or at least they should be 😉)
