The Halloween that we made things official... which of course meant we got to celebrate our anniversary on Halloween for the next nine years!

Snapped a quick picture of us before heading out for a rehearsal dinner in November 2016 because we're both so adorable. ♡

Spending Christmas up in New Hampshire. We've gone a couple of times now. Because who doesn't love horse-drawn sleigh rides through the snow, snuggled under a warm blanket with the one you love, watching the twinkling lights dance and knowing that a warm crackling fire and some hot chocolate is waiting for you both when you get home to open presents. ♡

Went on a trip to Vegas in February 2018 and had a blast. Saw the Tournament of Kings show (Vegas version of Medieval Times) and were excited to be seated in the Ireland section while both wearing our green; Strolled down Fremont Street and were treated to a Linkin Park music Light Show; Took in the beautifully elaborate decorations at the Bellagio and got photo bombed by a panda... along with a LOT of other adventures!

Took a trip to Nantucket with family in June 2018. Hopped on a moped and toured around the island a bit, danced to some live music, and got to eat some delicious seafood (well, Dave didn't eat it, but everyone else did.)

Bought our first house together in Fall 2018... And in January 2019, took this picture of us enjoying some hot chocolate together while the snow falls outside that new house for the first time.

Not long after moving into our new place, we found our missing piece, Scout. She's the best dog anyone could ask for and we love her so much. ♡

In October-November 2019, we traveled to Naples, Italy and visited both Pompeii and Herculaneum.

After we visited Pompeii, we hiked up Vesuvius. We got a lot of exercise, but it was worth it for the view. And obviously we had some wine at the summit!

We spent a couple of days in Naples, and then Dave braved the treacherous drive along the cliffs to Positano, a beautiful seaside town built up the mountainside. All views here were gorgeous.

We walked up and down more steps than we can count, took a boat ride to the island of Capri, and ate at some seriously delicious places (where Dave even tried the seafood!)

After all of that, we took a guided tour along the Amalfi coast, taking in as many sights (and gelato!) as possible.

And after our fantastic Italian excursion, COVID happened and kept us all indoors for 9 billion years. We decided we needed to brave the grocery store one day in April 2020, so we dressed for the trip!

Thankfully, we were finally allowed to travel, and in September 2021, we went to Florida for a wedding...

and another very special surprise... ♡

We went to Disney's Star Wars one day, where Dave got to build his own lightsaber, and to Universal's Harry Potter World the next day, where Christine got her very own wand!

After stopping by the Leaky Cauldron for lunch, we boarded the Hogwarts express, headed for Hogsmeade for the afternoon...

When we got to Hogsmeade, we ran to the castle, taking photos along the way. Christine wanted to get a good photo of the castle in person, since it looked so cool. Dave suggested we take a picture together on a wooden bridge in front of the castle. Christine agreed and got into a pose with her wand ready...

But Dave wasn't standing next to her anymore...

Of course, the story doesn't end there...

We've been very busy since getting engaged, starting with a trip overseas for a wedding in London in May 2022!

After the wedding, we took a tour of the city, making sure we stopped by all the major attractions (which for Christine obviously meant the TARDIS as well).

We took a day trip out to Bath, England and saw the Roman Baths. We also had tea in a house built in 1680 and took a bus tour through the town and out into the English countryside.

After returning to the states and enjoying a fun filled summer, we were FINALLY able to close on our second house! Right before Thanksgiving 2022, we celebrated with a glass of champagne together, standing in our new kitchen! Then we dove right into all the renovations we needed to do to get the house just the way we wanted.

While most of 2023 was filled with working on the new house, we managed to have some fun adventures as the year wound down. In September, we headed down the shore for a quick vacation in Ocean City, NJ.

October 2023 brought us to Madison Square Garden to see Billy Joel perform!

By the end of 2023, the house was ready to host Christmas for both of our families!

2024 has been filled with lots of wedding planning, but we've made sure to have lots of fun as well: hiking and disc golfing earlier in the first half of the year, a fancy date night at a really nice restaurant on a lake, and some Halloween festivities.

As 2025 approaches, we're filled with excitement for the upcoming wedding, and for all the future adventures we'll have together for the rest of our lives!
