Wineries
There are some great wineries in the area including a boutique tasting room at the venue. The venue is in Fallbrook and two of our favorites, Monserate Winery and Fallbrook Winery are only about ten minutes away.
The Temecula wineries are about 30 minutes from the venue where you can explore over 40 wineries. Some favorites are Calloway, Europa, and Miramonte.
Golf
Fallbrook:
Located right within the wedding venue, the Pala Mesa Resort Golf Course features a stunning 18-hole course. There are plenty more in Temecula and surrounding areas.
Kids Activities: Safari Park & Legoland
Within 30 minutes there is a great safari park zoo as well as Legoland which are both big hits with the kids.
Beaches/Beach towns
Carlsbad is the closest beach 30 minutes away and a great one.
Encinitas is just a bit farther and very similar, you could see both of these towns and beaches in a day. The best beach in Encinitas is Moonlight beach. Both areas have great restaurants, breweries, and downtown shopping areas to stroll through.
Mission Beach - We live on South Mission Beach about an hour away and will have a beach day on Sunday. Seaworld is also nearby and my favorite kids/adults theme park.
