Is there parking available near the wedding venue?
There is limited parking available at the venue, so we highly encourage guests to carpool or use ride-sharing apps. For more details, please visit the Venue tab on our website to access the parking map. Thank you for helping us make the day as smooth as possible
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, while the reception will be indoors. For those who want to enjoy the fresh air during the reception, there will be heated areas outside.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Yes, we have reserved blocks of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina. You can find more information and links under the Travel tab on our website. There are also two other hotel options within close distance to the venue listed in the same section.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire, and we recommend dressing warmly since it will be January and close to the bay. Thank you, and we can’t wait to celebrate together!
What is the weather like in the area?
Since we can’t predict the weather this far in advance, we suggest checking the forecast as the date gets closer. In general, January weather in Berkeley, California, is mild but can be wet, with daytime temperatures typically in the low 60s and evenings dropping to the 40s. Plan to bring a warm layer and umbrella just in case!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Due to limited space at the venue, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those included on your invitation. We’re so excited to celebrate with you and appreciate your understanding!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We kindly ask that only the children included in your invitation count join us. If they aren’t listed, we ask that you please make other arrangements for your children on this special day. Thank you so much!
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Christopher and Charlotte love to snack, so we’re excited to serve plenty of delicious appetizers and desserts throughout the night! You can expect a variety of tasty bites and sweet treats to keep everyone fueled for dancing and celebrating. Cheers to a fun-filled evening!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar for our guests. We’ll also have plenty of non-alcoholic options. Cheers to celebrating together!
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
There will be a gift table at the wedding for you to place your gifts. If you’re unable to bring your gift with you, please send it to the parents of the bride’s home at 13301 Lambuth Road, Oakdale, California 95361, as we are currently residing in Pennsylvania but will soon be moving back to the West Coast. Thank you for your thoughtfulness!
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony, which will start at 3 PM. Please plan to be there by 2:30 PM to allow time for parking and to find your seat. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
What time will your wedding reception end?
The wedding reception will end at 9 PM. We’re excited to celebrate with everyone throughout the evening and make wonderful memories together.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
No, there will not be a time gap between the ceremony and the reception. The reception will begin immediately after the ceremony, so you can enjoy the celebration without any interruptions!
