Jeff has been a close friend of Christopher's ever since they met in German class at Joplin High School. Since then, they have enjoyed playing many video games together remotely such as Ace Attorney, AI: The Somnium Files, Genshin Impact, and Undertale.

"After decades of friendship starting on stage while Sean was still in high school and I in college, we have been through all sorts of ups and downs in our lives and I am honored to witness him marry his other half, Christopher. May they have a lifetime of love and happiness."

James and Christopher first met as students in the Historical Performance Department at Boston University, where they both earned their doctorates. James was there through some difficult times at BU, and he and Christopher often played cribbage and spent time with James's bunnies until he and his wife Ashley moved in 2016. James will be playing period horn at the reception.

"I commissioned Sean for Jem's 'brown dress' from the "Stingers Hit Town" episode. He shared with me all the things about Cass and Madelyn, as I am a cat lady. Like a cat, Sean 'chose' me and we've been close ever since."

Simon (see-MOHN) and Christopher first met during the COVID-19 pandemic, in a weekly virtual men's social group called MENders. The two share a love of video games (though Simon is much more of a "hardcore" gamer than Christopher). Simon has repeatedly generously offered resources of time, talent, and treasure to those around him.

"My name is Yvette "Ivy (pronounced ee-vee)" Abu Ghoush. I was born into Sean's life as his baby sister only 15 months apart. I will always appreciate him for that it has helped to create the strong, fierce and protective woman I am today. I can say with 100% certainty he and Christopher are so happy together and deserve this love together."

Nivvy joined Christopher's family as an Emotional Support 12-week-old kitten on May 16, 2021. She was an enormous help to Christopher during COVID and essentially saved his life. She warmed up to Sean immediately and now considers him one of her people. Once confined to a small one-bedroom apartment for three years, she now lives a joyful life in her three-floor duplex, sneaking into the neighbor's apartment through a hole in the basement and getting into all sorts of mischief. She is regrettably unable to attend the ceremony but sends her well wishes - and asks for more pets and treats!

Maddie originally hails from Georgia, before she was relocated to Massachusetts, where she met Sean in 2018. They lived together alone for some time before Christopher and Nivvy arrived. Maddie enjoys birdwatching, temptations treats and often chooses violence when dealing with matters of the heart. Maddie and Nivvy formed a friendship and have taught each other many things. Though, Maddie enjoys the simpler things in life. She is unable to make it today, but sends her love and her most judgmental stare. She's not one to gush, but she's found herself quite happy in this little family that she's become a part of.
