Our story is a unique one. Some people know the full story, while others don't. The knitty gritty of it all is that we found each other out of unusual circumstances due to our previous marriages. We met online on OKCupid! Christopher sent Chastyti a message about the board game Ticket To Ride which was mentioned on her profile. Chastyti was actually getting off of the dating websites because she had met someone else recently, but decided to exchange numbers with Christopher thinking he could be a friend. The conversations continued and they became snapchat friends and there wasn't a day they weren't sending photos and talking to each other. About a month after connecting online, Christopher was back in Missouri and they decided to meet up in person. Neither person expected a life-altering love to bloom. However, that is exactly what happened. From that first in person meeting, it was obvious that there was something different about this relationship. There was an ease, a peace to it. The support from each other and the true partnership was unlike anything we had experienced in previous relationships. Our shared faith, belief in social justice, and loving others also brought us closer together. Chastyti let Christopher know early on that he was "stuck with her." Life had some unexpected turns for both of us. We held each other through a lot of heartache and hardships, but remained true to one another. We are thankful to God for our story, the journey that has gotten us here and we are looking forward to our future together.
