Q + A

What's the dress code?

The dress code is formal/black tie. We want you looking your absolute best! Keep in mind, this is the heat of summer in Buenos Aires, so temperatures are usually above 25C.

What time should we arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 6:30pm, so guests are invited to come 30 minutes prior to the ceremony beginning to get settled. If you are coming from Buenos Aires, this will be during rush hour or "cottage traffic" hour. Please give yourself plenty of time as people are heading out to Pilar for the weekend to enjoy the country.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by November 30th, 2024.

Is there parking at the venue?

The venue has lots of parking in case you are driving.

How many days should I plan for staying in Buenos Aires?

You should plan on arriving to Buenos Aires by February 10th. This gives you a full 4 days to enjoy the city and tour around before the wedding, on the 14th. If you are not a city person/you've been to Buenos Aires/ you can't get the time off work, plan to arrive by 12th-13th so you don't have to cut it close to the big day!

Is the wedding in Buenos Aires?

The wedding is just outside of Buenos Aires, in the town of Pilar. We recommend staying in Pilar on the night of the 14th so you don't have to endure a 35-40 minute drive back to Buenos Aires at the end of the wedding night.

What neighbourhoods should I be looking to stay in while in Buenos Aires?

Any Airbnb or hotel in Palermo, Recoleta or Puerto Madero are all very safe areas that have lovely places to stay in with lots of shops and restaurants near by.

Where should I stay in Pilar?

Hotels would be our suggestion. The following are some good options in ascending value per night: Ibis Pilar, Kos Hotel, Hilton Pilar. We will be staying at Kos, as it's a 4 minute drive from the venue. There are tons of other hotels in Pilar too! Some people have also asked about renting houses as there are a lot of gated communities in Pilar. Please run your desired rental by us as we have a better idea of where the gated community is/if it's worth it. It is going to be unlikely that gated communities will rent out their house for 1-2 nights, so our recommendation is hotel.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

We are manifesting good weather for an a sunset outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. The dinner will be served indoors and dancing to follow!

How will I arrange transport at the end of the wedding?

We are going be arranging transport back to people's place of stay at the end of wedding. These logistics will be figured out closer to the wedding date as we need everyone's address of where they will be staying. If you stay in Pilar, your trip back home will be much shorter than if you stay in Buenos Aires!

Where is the airport in Buenos Aires?

If you are coming from an international flight, the airport you will fly into is likely going to be Ezeiza. Ezeiza is a very far drive from downtown (approximately 40 minutes on a good day). There are plenty of cab options to take from the airport. Depending on the connecting flight (sadly most of you will not be flying direct), you may fly into Aeroparque - the smaller airport, located close to downtown Buenos Aires. Again, Aeroparque has tons of cab options and is a quicker ride to the city.

What other parts of Argentina can I tack on this trip?

Fantastic options would include: Patagonia region, Mendoza, Iguazú Falls. You cannot go wrong!
