If you haven't already heard the story of how Terry and Chris first met many, many years ago, then here's one more chance. Almost 25 years ago, both Terry and Chris were on vacation in Key West, Florida, from the far off locations of Manhattan and Dallas. Their vacations overlapped for 1-1/2 days when they met in the Copa nightclub on Duval Street. After only exchanging a few sentences, Chris recognized something special in "that guy" and they left the club to walk along the island's edge. If you've ever been to Key West, you'll know that there's a landmark shaped like a large buoy that marks the southernmost point of the United States. And that's where it all started. They spent the next day together and had a romantic dinner on the strip before saying goodbye and parting ways. Chris got in a car with his roommate, Rommel, and they drove back to Miami for their flight home. As Chris cried all the way home, Rommel perceptively commented, "Somebody finally landed Chris Miller."While Chris' vacation had just ended, Terry's had just begun. Terry returned to New York several days later. Thus began a 3-month period of late night phone calls before Terry decided to leave his beloved Manhattan and travel to Dallas.On this weekend, which marks the exact date to the start of our journey 25 years ago, we have decided to make it official. Join us in celebrating 25 years of magic with our much-loved friends and family! (And yes, sometimes it is just like they say in the movies.)

On September 10, 2015, while celebrating the 58th wedding anniversary of Chris' parents, Mike and Dee Miller, Chris surprised Terry with a formal proposal of engagement.

What's up with "Wear a splash of chartreuse?"

Chartreuse is the bright green color of Spring seedlings. It's the color of new beginnings and fresh starts. Feel free to wear your favorite cocktail attire, but add a small touch of chartreuse and have fun with it. A splash doesn't mean an entire blouse, dress or jacket, it's a request for one small and fun item on your person to be chartreuse. It could be a pin, a bowtie, boutinare, pocket square, earrings or a scarf with a small stripe of chartreuse. But don't feel limited by the expected and feel free to grab something from you house like a lego block, crayon, actual clover, fishing lure, or gift wrap twine. And if you just simply can't find something chartreuse, please come anyway. Claim that you're wearing chartreuse undergarments; and we promise that we will trust you.
