Tale as old as time, Bailey and Savannah worked together in the same preschool for two years....and ignored each other the entire time. When the preschool closed for quarantine they began to text and bond over guilty pleasure television shows and the perils of early childhood education. Over the next two years they spent a lot of time crafting, traveling, thrifting, and engaging in general shenanigans. Bailey has played a key role in making the wedding (and all the parties) a smashing success. As well as making sure Savannah and Christopher stay sane through it all. We love you Bailey!

Christopher and TJ met in 2013 but the bromance didn't really begin until 2016. They went hiking, talked about a lot of life-ish things and then said "hey, let's share this with the world" - and at TJ's suggestion - started the Hiking Meetup together. They continue to bond over hiking, football, all things gaming and the band CHRVHES. Oh. And ask them about their obsession with Africa's TOTO, you won't be disappointed.

Lacey and Savannah were born 2.5 years apart and shared many of the joyous (and not so much...) memories of growing up in the same house together. As adults, they both relocated to Charlotte and have had the opportunity to be roommates and coworkers. They have spent the last several years growing close over thrift shopping, movie nights, and the occasional wine night.

Dan and Christopher met through Joanna (Groom's cousin) in 2001-ish. Dan has been part of the family for two decades and man, they've been good decades. Dan and Christopher bonded over video games and listening to each other's random life stories. He's one of Christopher's favorite people in the world and has looked up to him for a long, long time.

Sarah is Christopher's sister and one of Savannah's best friends. Savannah and Sarah bonded quickly after meeting in 2018 and continued to grow their relationship via text until Sarah recently moved to Charlotte. Savannah and Christopher have enjoyed having her so close by. They have spent the last year exploring the city they love whether it be flea markets, coffee shops, vineyards, or restaurants. Sarah is a fierce friend and brings vibrance and energy to every room she enters.

Zach and Christopher met through the Hiking Meetup group. To say there has been much hilarity since is a vast understatement. Whether it's hiking up a tough trail, arguing about which brewery to go to after said trail, playing random Volleyball matches, or learning a new board game Zach has randomly bought, there's always a smile on your face after you meet up with him. Literally. Christopher is beyond grateful to have him in his life.

Andrew and Christopher met through a mutual friend. Attending a board game meetup at Andrew's house, Christopher was enamored with his serious love of board games. A few months pass and they met at a VR meetup - cementing their friendship for decades to come. Andrew has a wealth of knowledge about, honestly, everything and if Christopher has a question, he has an answer.

Christopher introduced Kate and her fiancé Andrew to Savannah shortly after they met. The two couples quickly bonded over board games and good food. Kate has been a wonderfully supportive friend to Savannah over the last four years. Kate is always there with sound advice when needed. Kate is an extremely talented cook and often competes with Christopher to see who can make the best pasta (the jury is still out).

Paige and Savannah met in high school during their sophomore chemistry class where more than one type of chemistry started flowing. The bond started over mutual distaste for their project partner who kept breaking the supplies. This friendship flowed into the next 14 years of road trips, 10-minute long audio messages, and a mutual love of food and drink.

Yair and Christopher met in college around 2013. Christopher has always admired Yair's passion for a positive outlook on life and his ability to see the good in everything and everyone. His companionship is honestly what Christopher was hoping to find when he left Florida for greener pastures. He makes everyone in the room laugh and man, is he good at escape rooms. (Perhaps too good).

Jordan and Savannah met in the 7th grade when Savannah was new to their middle school in Iowa. A forever bond was formed through years of sleepovers and Chinese food. Despite living halfway across the country for the last 15 years they have stayed close through daily texts and late night FaceTime calls (and the threat that they each know too much about the other to let the friendship end).
