The Story So far

Christopher and Madison’s story began on&nbsp;May 3rd, 2023, in the San Diego airport. Both were heading to infantry school, not knowing they’d not only become classmates but also next-door neighbors. For Madison, the date held a little extra meaning—it was her parents’ wedding anniversary, and she herself was born in San Diego. Maybe it was fate, maybe just perfect timing, but for Madison, it was&nbsp;love at first sight.Soon after, they began a long-distance relationship filled with countless phone calls—680 between August 2023 and January 2024 alone!&nbsp;They crisscrossed the map between Colorado and Michigan, sometimes for just a weekend, sometimes for a whole month. Their careers gave them chances to take classes in different states, and they always made the most of those opportunities to be together.In&nbsp;January 2025, Christopher officially made the move to Colorado, where the two built a little family with their sweet dog, Piper, and their cat, Maples. Life together felt natural and full of joy.Then, on&nbsp;July 18th, 2025, during a spontaneous hike behind their home in Colorado Springs, Christopher asked Madison to marry him. In true “them” fashion, they were both wearing their favorite&nbsp;matching alien t-shirts—ordinary to anyone else, but perfectly them.Now, with Piper and Maples by their side, they’re excited to begin this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.

We Highly recommend staying at the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and resort for the big day since that's where the ceremony and reception will be taking place! Guests who stay at the resort get access to the Hot springs We also Recommend using the Hot springs website to find other fun activities in the area while your in town! Denver International Airport (DIA): About 150 miles southwest via US-285 S, taking roughly 2.5 hours. Colorado Springs Airport (COS): Around 109 miles west via US-24 W and US-285 N, clocking in at about 2 hours.
