Well, we started chatting on Snapchat via Tinder (honestly the only good thing that has come of Snapchat, ha!). I couldn't help myself after our first argument happened before we met in person. I thought I gotta see this guy. He was set to leave and move to Arizona to start a new life 3 weeks later....
We met and decided to see each other as much as we could before he left. We had lunches and dinners and long talks. When ever we would have a disagreement, he never made me feel unwanted. We always mustered through with kindness and care.
As the time approached for him to leave NC, he was determined to not have a long distance relationship. We had a good thing going even if we had only known each other a short time. We decided to at least give it a chance before we called it quits. He left and I told him I loved him before he drove off....
I had some time off the middle of September so with his permission, I booked my flight to see him and spend the weekend. That trip turned into a monthly trip and by January, we decided he would come back to NC for a trip. He came February 2022 and stayed for a month. During that visit, we discussed boundaries and what we wanted out of our relationship. At the conclusion, we decided we wanted to be together in the same place. He went back to Arizona for a quick month and I went back one last time in April 2022. We packed him up and drove cross country back to NC to really give our relationship a fighting chance.
Two and a half years in and two years later, living together with my mom, my cats, international trips to Belize and Ireland, ups and downs, pure chaos and pure bliss, we have grown individually and as a couple. We decided to make it official and legally hitch our wagons together.
We have never been happier and look forward to our lives together, starting with sharing our special day with you all.
So much love,
Chris and Kellie
