Chris and Jazz's love story began in the summer of 2012 with the match making skills of her mom, Mrs. Lorraine. Mrs. Lorraine met Chris first while he worked at the Verizon store in the Acadiana Mall in Lafayette, La. She went in to get her phone fixed and thought, "Hmmm... Jazzy would like him." So, while Jazz was at school in Texas, Mrs. Lorraine used every excuse to make frequent stops at that Verizon to scout Chris. Mrs. Lorraine never told Chris she had a daughter and never told Jazz of these ventures.

Once Jazz returned home for the summer break, Mrs. Lorraine found yet another excuse to visit that Verizon store. But this time, she brought Jazz along. She told Jazz to go get her phone fixed while she went to Macy's. When she walked up to Chris, they locked eyes and clicked instantly. When she returned the phone to her mom, which was never actually broken, her mom asked, "So, what do you think!?" Jazz responded, "I like him!"

After dating and making countless memories for 2 years life took us both in separate directions. Throughout the years of being separated the universe always seemed to put us in each other's path. From a chance encounter in New Orleans, to ending up 1 person apart in the TSA line of the Oklahoma airport for 6 am flights. In 2021, we reconnected and haven't separated since. With our love for travel we've traveled thousands of miles together, but none compares to our destination ending in forever, where it all started in Louisiana!
