Nico and Christy first met in 2015 at Oklahoma City University. Nico was one of the rowers and Christy was one of the dance majors. In the beginning, their paths crossed only a few times through mutual friends.

But one night, everything changed when they were formally introduced. Not many words were spoken, which is a miracle if you know Nico, but the connection was strong.

Nico and Christy spoke almost every day from that point on. But, Nico decided to play hard to get. Christy was up for the challenge and like the strong Philly girl she is, she made it very clear that she was interested in being with Nico. This determination and resilience is what made Nico open up and build the start of a loving relationship with Christy on October 16th, 2016

Nico and Christy are both strong willed and determined individuals. No one thought that these two would not only make a great couple, but also become the best of friends. They have always valued their friendship over all other things and keep each other at the top of their minds and close to their hearts.

Through the years, these two have gone through all sorts of highs (like adopting all three of their fur babies) and lows. Let's not forget the famous second date... (getting lost on a mountain for 10 hours because Nico thought hiking would be "fun"). They have had the experience of a lifetime, finding the love of their lives and the person to call a true best friend. They have been given the privilege of sharing that with all of their friends and family.
