Our Story

Christy and Clayton met in January of 2025 on a dating app called Hinge! Neither of them had high expectations that they would meet someone as like-minded as the other who also wanted to follow Jesus, but after their first date on January 27th, 2025, hope sprung up in both of their hearts realizing it might've been the last first date they would ever go on.

As more and more time passed, it became clear that the first date wasn't just a fluke. The more they got to know one another, the more they fell in love. They enjoyed attending church and Bible study alongside one another and enjoyed meeting one another's friends and family. They both discovered how competitive the other person was but also how they complemented the other so well. And even though they met online, they were surprised to discover over time how closely their friends were interconnected even before they ever met.

After much discussion and prayer, they decided that they did indeed want to spend the rest of their lives together. In August of 2025, Clayton asked Christy's parents if he could have their blessing over this marriage, and they said yes. It would be about 3 months later on November 15th, 2025 that Christy would say yes too!

They cannot wait to celebrate getting married with their closest friends and family and cannot thank each one of you enough for the unique ways you have loved them throughout their lives and the ways you will continue to in their future.
